Pleasantly surprised
I honestly expected this to bounce like the light I sent back last winter. Clipped it to the edge of my jacket and did my usual three miles. I adjusted it once before starting and didn't touch it again.
Stay visibly lit on your walks and runs while keeping both hands free.
The Clip-On Light & Siren keeps you lit for drivers and puts an alarm within reach on every walk and run. It clips to your jacket or bag strap, so both hands stay free and your phone stays ready for calls. There is no tight headband and no keys rattling in your pocket.
Oh Tilda's Clip-On Light & Siren is one white rechargeable device measuring 7.8 × 2.5 cm, with a rear clothing clip. Choose steady or flashing white light, and double-click the siren control to sound the 130 dB attention alarm. A full charge provides six hours of flashing light, two hours of steady light or about 90 minutes of alarm use. USB-C charging takes about 60 minutes. The light illuminates nearby tasks; take a dedicated headlamp for an unlit trail. Keep the device dry and away from direct contact with sweat; no waterproof or sweat-resistance rating is specified. This manually operated device does not make emergency calls. Your order contains one white device.
Free standard shipping throughout the United States, with no minimum order.
Used and unused products qualify for returns within 30 days of delivery. Contact help [at] ohtilda [dot] com for authorization and a label. Keep the packaging and included accessories.
As seen on
Feeling invisible after dark turns your usual walk into a shorter route or another night indoors. A phone torch takes up a hand, and a buried alarm adds a search when you need it.

A headlamp swings its beam wherever you look. Oh Tilda puts the light on your clothing instead, with an attention siren in the same small device. The rear clip holds the outward-facing light against your body.

Bought this for my husband who runs before work. He's fussy about extra stuff so I wasn't sure. It's by his trainers every morning now :)

charges with the same lead I use at my desk. much better than hunting for those little batteries

My old alarm lived at the bottom of my work bag. Tried reaching this one with my tote on and could get straight to the button. Practised the double click at home so I know what I'm doing.

Fits in my coat pocket at the office. I kept leaving my light-up vest at home because I didn't want to carry it back, so this suits me better.

Walking two dogs and trying to hold my phone light was ridiculous. This leaves me a hand for the poo bags. Should have got one ages ago!
The clothing clip carries your light without a lanyard rubbing against your neck.
Six hours of flashing light covers twelve half-hour outings.
A one-hour USB-C charge gets it ready to go again.
The rear clip fits a T-shirt neckline, jacket edge or waistband.
The deliberate double-click control keeps a single press from setting it off.
Steady white light lets you see nearby details without a flash in your eyes.

Slide the rear clip over a secure clothing edge, with the white front facing out.

Select flashing white light for visibility or steady white light for nearby tasks.

Wear the control within reach and practise the double-click before your first outing.

Take the early slot, even when the sun hasn't caught up with your schedule.

Give your dog the proper evening walk instead of cutting it short at the front gate.

Make the last stretch from the bus part of your daily walk, even after a late finish.

In Oh Tilda's bench trial, 24 clips completed 3,000 opening-and-closing cycles each without breaking. Every device still attached securely to the same jacket fabric at the end.

In a three-week wearer trial, 27 of 30 walkers and runners rated it easiest to carry against a phone torch with a separate alarm and a lighted vest with a separate alarm.

A light below your chin lets you talk to another runner without pointing a headlamp in their face. I like that on group runs before dawn.
Oh Tilda founder Mara Ellis made this light because she kept leaving cumbersome walking gear at home.
